Meeeeow. <br><br><strong>Flavor Notes:</strong><br>• slight smokiness<br>• subtle sweetness<br>• low acidity<br><br><strong>About the Decaffeination Process:<br></strong>This coffee is processed at origin in Colombia by our friends at DESCAFECOL in Manizales.<br><br>They use naturally occurring spring water, filtered through a sand trap and boiler on the property. No additional chemicals or chlorine are added during this treatment.<br><br>The coffee is then hot rinsed at 185°F for approximately 11 hours in an extractor, using Ethyl Acetate (EA). This natural solvent is derived from the controlled fermentation of sugarcane molasses and boasts 99.9% purity.<br><br>Afterward, the coffee is moved to a distiller to remove any remaining EA, then mechanically dried for six hours.
